About Me

I am fascinated by people and cultures and often travel off the beaten track to find new adventures. Many a time, people have just stopped me in my tracks to ask me where have I come from and that's just  in remote parts of Europe!  The fact that there are so many people who view the world differently to me opens up new avenues of learning and ideas.

Perhaps it is this fascination with people that led me to devote 12 years of my career to the  prison service in the U.K. Learning about people's lives has given me an understanding of why people behave the way they do.

I believe I am a Maximizer, seeking to focus on personal and group excellence and thereby transforming something strong into something superb. Together, we are stronger and better.

I am also a Strategist seeking alternative ways to proceed if there are obstacles in my path. It's what builds character when you can look back and say, " Yes, I achieved that."

Giving back to the community is important to me and volunteering plays a big part of my life. Leaving the world a little bit better than when I first arrived is something I believe I should strive for.

I am not an exercise fanatic by any means but love trying out things like kayaking, whitewater rafting abseiling and para-sailing and sailing.

Indulging in creativity is important and so this blog has been another avenue where I can display some of my favourite photos.

While on my career break I visited Canada and fell in love with its scenery and the openness of the Canadian people. These were some of the deciding factors that made me come back to study public relations at Niagara College in 2014.

Please contact me if you have any queries about my blog. I would love to hear from you, especially if you are stuck for ideas on travelling.
